Experts: Hacktivists pose serious cyber threat, Asia active

MOSCOW, Nov 14 (PRIME) -- Professional pro-governmental cyber groups, the most active of which are from Asia, are a stable and technically sophisticated threat for Russian companies, group of companies Solar said on Tuesday in a research.

“Groups from the Asian region are most active among the highly skilled ones,” the research read.

Solar expects that professional pro-governmental groups will maintain the scale of their campaigns in 2024, and the trend of attacks via a poorly protected partner will lead.

The specialists also think the number of incidents with a destructive impact on IT infrastructure will rise.

With the rise of import replacement, hackers will start examining local software and look for vulnerabilities for their attacks, Solar said.
